About the Company
Elanamie Clinic in Douglas, Cork is a multi-award-winning provider of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, known for its ethical practices and patient-focused care. Recent accolades include Aesthetic Clinic of the Year 2023 and Best Aesthetic Clinic Munster 2022. The clinic is now seeking a professional and detail-oriented Senior Medical Administrator to join its dynamic team.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 9am–6pm
Friday: 9am–5pm
2–3 late evenings per week (until 9pm)
Saturday mornings on a rotational basis
Salary:
€34-€37k (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Manage bookings, appointment amendments, and cancellations
Dispense skincare and clinic products to patients
Handle payments (cash/card) and reconcile end-of-day accounts
Organise patient flow and ensure timely scheduling
Handle phone and email enquiries accurately and promptly
Take payments (cash/card) and complete end-of-shift account reconciliation
Dispense skincare and clinic products to patients
Ensure accurate handling of patient records and confidential information
Essential Requirements:
3 years Medical Administrator experience
Proven discretion and adherence to GDPR guidelines
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills
Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to learn and work with new IT systems
Excellent organisation and time management
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to cover additional hours during colleague leave
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Holds a Medical or Business Secretarial qualification with high proficiency
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
Polite, calm, and professional manner
High attention to detail and accuracy in patient records
Confident in identifying areas for efficiency improvement
Enjoys a varied, fast-paced healthcare environment
Experience in a healthcare setting is a strong advantage
